Igniting handball passion in Hong Kong youth! Founded by national team players, we leverage the 2025 National Games hype to offer introduction classes and holiday camps with pro coaching, free spots for all youth (ages 8-15), and "Train Like National Stars" programs. Meet the Founders

Sean Lee
Since 2019, Sean has been a dedicated member of the Diocesan Boys’ School handball team. His passion and commitment led him to become an important player for DBS in 2022, helping the team win the 1st Runner-Up in the 2024–25 Hong Kong Inter-school Division 1 Grade B Handball Competition and win the Champion for five straight years in the Jing Ying Tournament.
Sean’s dedication earned him a spot on the Hong Kong U16 National Team in 2024. He proudly represented Hong Kong at international competitions, most recently at the Prague Handball Cup in 2025.
Handball is a fast and exciting sport, full of swift passes, quick sprints, and powerful shots. Every second is packed with energy, making it thrilling for players and spectators. Sean wants to share this adrenaline rush with all kids in Hong Kong. Through Play Venture Handball, he hopes to offer free opportunities for young people to play, learn, and enjoy the game.
The idea for this came during the COVID-19 pandemic, when he saw many youth lacked access to proper sports and education. Sean and Yiji started Play Venture Handball to fill this gap—so every young person can stay active, connected, and supported through sport.
“One day, I want to see handball as popular as football in Hong Kong,” Sean says. His vision is to build a movement that inspires, unites, and empowers youth across the city. His journey is just beginning, driven by his dream to ignite a handball revolution that shows the true power of sport to change lives.

Yiji Hung
Yiji Hung is a passionate student-athlete at Diocesan Boys’ School, excelling in handball and athletics. Since 2019, he has been a key player on the school’s Handball Team and served as House Sports Captain (2024–25). His dedication helped secure Division 1 Grade C Handball Championships from 2022 to 2024 and the Jing Ying Handball Competition title in 2024–25.
Internationally, Yiji represents Hong Kong with the U13 and U16 national handball teams (2021–2024 and 2024–present). He competed in the Prague Handball Cup in 2024 and 2025, and at the inaugural Asian U17 Handball Cup in Jordan in 2025.
In athletics, which he joined in 2016, Yiji won the School Athletics Meet javelin championship and earned 1st runner-up in the Interschool Division 1 Athletics Meet javelin event (2024–25).
Driven by his love for competition, teamwork, and physical challenge, Yiji founded Playventure, a grassroots organization promoting handball in Hong Kong. Despite being a minor sport with limited participants and resources compared to basketball or football, Hong Kong’s handball teams consistently excel regionally and internationally. With Hong Kong hosting handball events at the 14th National Games in 2025, Yiji sees a chance to elevate the sport.
For Yiji, handball is thrilling—fast-paced, strategic, athletic, and team-oriented. He believes more kids would love it if they tried it. Through Play Venture, he organizes free taster sessions in community centers and schools, runs holiday camps, and partners with local clubs to remove barriers—no gear or experience required. His aim: grow a vibrant handball community to sustain Hong Kong’s success for future generations.
